Katie Bauer (She/Her) is a Registered Social Worker and Certified Play Therapist who supports children ages 3 to 11 through play-based, attachment-focused, and developmentally informed therapy. Katie is a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s degree in Developmental Psychology and a Graduate Diploma in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy. She is also a Certified Play Therapist through the Canadian Association for Play Therapy, bringing both advanced training and heartfelt compassion to her work with children and families.
Katie’s approach is grounded in person-centred, attachment-based, and Jungian-informed frameworks. She meets children at their developmental level and honours their natural capacity for healing through play. Her work is especially informed by a strong understanding of how trauma, grief, and stress impact a child’s nervous system.
