Appointment Cancellation & Payment Policy

Provide Notice

Clients are kindly requested to provide a minimum of 24 hours' notice if they need to cancel or reschedule their appointment at Stone Silo Counselling and Wellness. If a client fails to cancel or cancels within 24 hours they may be charged the session fee still. Charging for missed appointments or late cancellations will be determined on a case-by-case basis and are under the sole discretion of Stone Silo. 

Understanding that unforeseen circumstances can arise, we acknowledge that there might be instances where cancellations within the 24-hour window become necessary. However, to ensure fairness to both our dedicated therapists and other clients seeking our services, it's important to note that missed appointments or cancellations within this timeframe may result in the session fee being charged.

Payment Options

In terms of payment, Stone Silo Counselling and Wellness offers multiple convenient payment options for clients. Clients can choose to pay using a card on file, which includes both credit and debit cards. By securely storing their card information, clients can have their session fees automatically charged to their provided card. Alternatively, clients can also pay using e-transfer or cash. Clients may also pay for their massage therapy/osteopath treatments with debit or credit using the Point of Sale machine at the Waterloo office. 

When it comes to payment methods, Stone Silo Counselling and Wellness prioritizes client convenience by offering a range of flexible options. Clients have the choice to make payments using a card on file, encompassing both credit and debit cards. This method ensures security as client card details are stored securely, enabling hassle-free automatic charges of session fees to the designated card. For those who prefer alternatives, the facility supports payments via e-transfer or cash. Additionally, for massage therapy and osteopathy treatments, clients can use debit or credit cards through the Point of Sale machine at the Waterloo office. This diverse array of payment avenues underscores Stone Silo's commitment to accommodating various preferences and needs for a seamless client experience.

Appointment Fees

The appointment session fees at Stone Silo Counselling and Wellness vary depending on the appointment type and the therapist the client works with. For mental health services, prices range from $150 to $175 per clinical hour.  For massage services, the cost is $105 for an hour of massage. For osteopathy services, it is $95 for the initial 45-minute assessment, and then $75 for 30-minute appointments. Before scheduling an appointment, clients will be informed of the specific session fee applicable to their situation. Session fees are also displayed on our online booking portal.

Clients must familiarize themselves with and agree to the cancellation and payment policy when scheduling an appointment at Stone Silo Counselling and Wellness. By doing so, clients acknowledge that they may be charged the full session fee if they fail to provide at least 24 hours notice for cancellation or rescheduling. They also understand that they can choose from various payment methods, including a card on file (credit or debit), e-transfer, or cash.
